A collector’s vehicle that has maintained its appeal to this day: with the legendary Gullwing Coupé, Mercedes-Benz presented the first thoroughbred sports car with a star in 1954. By May 1957, 1400 units of the car had been built in Sindelfingen, 29 of them with light-alloy bodies and one experimental vehicle with a plastic body. The miniature model of the 300 SL is an accurately detailed replica that will capture the imagination of any collector. The hand-assembled model not only boasts an authentic paintwork colour, but also a faithful representation of all interior details. The doors, bonnet and tailgate of the model car can be opened, enabling closer inspection of the car’s interior.
